How big should be the painting I buy?

This is a question we often make ourselves when we are shopping for a painting, and we sometimes refrain from buying it because we are not sure if we will get the measures right.

We propose a very simple trick which you can easily mount in your living-room's table.

1st Join several magazine pages with adhesive tape until you have the exact surface measures of the painting you intend to buy.

2nd  Place “the painting” on the wall and stick  it with a little tape in the place where you have decided to hang it.

3rd Move away from the wall until you are at a correct distance to appreciate if the painting's dimensions are the correct ones and then you will be able to make a final decision.
